Does Away Messaging automatically send my messages?
No. Away Messaging helps you prepare messages and reminds you when they’re ready. You review and send each message yourself using Apple’s message composer.
What happens when I schedule a message?
Away Messaging schedules a local notification to remind you at the selected time. It does not automatically send the message.
Do I need an account?
No. Away Messaging does not require you to create a separate account.
Why does Away Messaging need access to Contacts?
Contacts access allows you to select message recipients directly from your iPhone Contacts.
Why am I not receiving reminders?
Open iPhone Settings, choose Notifications, select Away Messaging, and confirm that Allow Notifications is enabled.
Does Away Messaging use iCloud?
Supported app data can use your private iCloud account for syncing, backup, and restore when iCloud functionality is enabled.
